Before we start...
I want to apologize for not being clear for the directions that I wanted to do for this project. So, I want to explain in text for the people that are confused with the topic that I want to do and to show the two other programs that I experimented and though they were interesting for this week. The video in more in-depth for the sites I used this week will be at the end of this post.
Understanding the Topic
For my topic, I wanted to make the player to create their own skins with using a tool that they have the creative freedom to use (while following some limitations). So similar to Fortnite or Minecraft skins, they have to create their own skins, but in order to use the skins they have to transfer the skins into a different files and programs in order to use it. However, I only want them to be in a singular place or area where they can create and then start playing it right after. I don't want to make the character to have an avatar to use freely or anywhere in other games like VR. I wanted to have a color wheel feature, (or maybe including having an AI feature that can create the outfits for the characters as well just from text or even both), to be mainly for the specific game only, while still having fun to create different outfits and using them.
So, the main point I just wanted to try to do is to have a color wheel and clothes customization feature to change individual outfits and can make the player to create the skin to whatever they can do, without having to pay anything. I don't want to overwhelm myself to try and have too many other things until I can get the main point down first before I can bring it until the software that I'm going to use.
The Programs/Websites that were interesting
Artflow
Artflow was an interesting use especially if I wanted to try to go with an avatar profile description. Personally, I can see this as more if I want to have description of works to jumble around, I think it would be cool to do. The downside to this is that if need to be human works to understand what the AI wants and mainly this is for having a profile icon or other facts that probably doesn't involved into video games.
So, in the example that I did on the left, it doesn't create a dog, but it looks like it's creating a person that can "probably" transform into a dog.

While it has its limitations, this was fun to use overall and I think that the text generator into creating the AI to create different various of creations is a pretty way to have that created freedom. Click here if you want to try the site yourself: Artflow

PMCSkin3D
PMCSkin3D (or called Planet Minecraft Skin 3D) is a free online website to created different Minecraft Skins to bring into Minecraft. Basically, using different paint tools and many options to create anything and there are a lot of different customization that are amazing, while creating it to fit into the Minecraft world. It even has a 2D mode to see how the textures would lay out on a UV Map. The only downside to this is that the downloading and transferring your custom skins can be annoying depending on how you arrange the files. Overall, this has a good combination to have create customization options can manually help the creator or player to see what they are doing.

So, what now:
Since I know have an idea what I want to go from here, the video will explain more in-depth but I'm going to try and combine inspiration for both Artflow and PMCSkin3D. However, I'm more leaning towards PMCSKin3D since it has the main structure for the idea. This including the outfits and everything else. I might want to keep it pixel art for the easy art for the player to use instead of 3D. Here is a sketch of the idea of what it will look like:

I hope that when I can create the Limitation and UI menu for the customizations, I believe that can add more ideas later on if I have to.
Thank you for reading and here is the video for Week 4:
